Supporting Freedom

From the early days of the full scale invasion, Countryside Finance felt it was important to support Ukraine in its fight for freedom and for the long term security of a democratic Europe.

We regularly keep look out for customer pick up trucks that are surplus to requirements or replaced with newer vehicles. We buy the truck, repair and pay for modifications such as Camouflage , All-Terrain tyres, Night Vision and Drone Jamming that increases the survivability of the vehicle and its occupants.

Tom Ladds then delivers the vehicles to Kyiv and personally hands them over to a pre-selected Ukrainian combat unit in co-ordination with our humanitarian aid partner, a large Estonian / Ukrainian founded NGO - Help99.co

Once delivered, the units also provide Tom with regular updates on the trucks performance, the soldiers well-being and their combat activities where appropriate; a strong and long-lasting personal connection has been forged.

We have included a selection of photos showing the trucks prepared in the UK, at the handover in Kyiv, and on positions across the Frontline in Eastern Ukraine.
